Process Questions

What is the entire process like?

The process is straightforward and simple, but to be honest, we would not say it is easy. Afterall, companies are looking for great tech talents!

1) Sign up as a tech talent, selecting the roles that you can perform as well as all the skills, knowledge and concepts that you have

2) Enter your job expectations and preferences

3) Attempt at least one assessment (quiz, take home assessment, coding assessment) to verify your skills. At Skilledd, we ultimate believe in letting one's skills do all the talking, so the more assessments you take and do well in, the stronger your profile and the more in demand you will be to companies.

4) As you finish your assessment, your profile is updated immediately to showcase how you did. We believe that every candidate has the ability to do well, we just need to share with them the the skill gaps they have, and point them in the right direction and provide them with the learning resources. All candidates can re-take assessments on a monthly basis to validate that they improve their knowledge and understanding of the skill, which is all reflected in their profile.

5) Candidates whose profile crosses a certain standard will be invited to a technical interview with Skilledd's Talent Assessors, further strengthening your profile and/or teaching you where you can improve in your skills and knowledge.

6) When a company selects your profile for their job opening, you will receive notifications that you have been matched, along with the job and company description. We will then assist in the scheduling of interviews between yourself and the hiring company.

7) If everything checks-out, the hiring company would inform Skilledd and we will subsequently inform you of the good news!

Why can’t I just apply directly to your client companies?

You can. That being said, our client companies trust in our ability to source and assess talents for their skills based on what they require. As such, candidates that build up a strong profile through Skilledd will have a much stronger chance to be connected with our client companies and secure a job with them.

How long will it take me to get a job match?

This varies on the roles and skills demanded from hiring companies, which Skilledd will share with tech talents to motivate talents to pick up those relevant skills and assess themselves on our platform to be shown in their profile.

On average, the process can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks, not including any notice period that the talent needs to serve if they are currently holding a full-time job.
